Lifetime Upgrade Sale at TimTech

You might have heard about it by now – the entire TE industry is abuzz about this crazy lifetime upgrade sale at TimTech TEs. And for a good reason: it’s not everyday that you can purchase such an upgrade at a top-rated exchange for just $47. If you hadn’t heard, the traffic exchanges in question are ILoveHits, ThumbVu, Sweeva, and StartXChange. ListNerds safelist is apparently also getting the same treatment.

I’ve personally used this chance to upgrade for life in all TEs where I hadn’t yet, and collect all of those awesome red snail badges at CTP. Now, this might seem like a pretty expensive deal compared to a monthly subscription, but I like to think about it as an investment which is going to benefit me for years to come. In exchanges which offer random referrals and monthly credits with the upgrade, it probably is going to pay for itself in under a year!

The bottom line is, if you’re serious about traffic exchange marketing, don’t miss this deal. You still have time until after the Labor Day, when it’s Tuesday morning in the US.

Downline Viral Traffic Review

Downline Viral Traffic is a fairly new traffic exchange with some unique features. It offers a standard 10 second timer and 2:1 surfing ratio for free members. There also are text link and banner advertising options, as well as a downline builder and a variety of affiliate tools. This all sounds like a usual traffic exchange so far, so you might ask, what’s so special about Downline Viral Traffic? Indeed, it has some really unique things to offer.

First of all, DVT has a sophisticated tracker that shows where traffic to your referral link is coming from, how many people join, and what’s the conversion rate for that specific traffic source. Second, they give you a detailed Surf History where you can see the last 100 sites you’ve viewed, and report any of them that might be breaking rules. This is a big improvement over TEs which only allow you to report the last webpage you’ve surfed. Finally, the most exciting feature is Activity Rewards.

Activity Rewards system actually allows you to customize your membership level to your needs. You get ARs by surfing, promoting, referring, and winning promotions. Then you can use your Rewards to get a higher surf rate, commission rate, or referral credit rate… Completely free.

That’s about it for the more interesting aspects of Downline Viral Traffic. Upgraded members get even more nice things, like earning credits from an unlimited number of referral levels. I suggest joining Downline Viral Traffic and trying it yourself. Unlike some new exchanges, DVT seems to eat credits and deliver traffic at a reasonably fast rate.

Fast Cash and Traffic Review

Fast Cash and Traffic (or FCAT for short) is a pretty new traffic exchange based on the popular LFMTE script. It is also a part of TE Profits downline builder, which is one of the main reasons I’ve joined.

FCAT is a simple and straightforward traffic exchange. It offers a 15 second timer, 2:1 surf ratio, one-click mass credit assign function, cash commissions, and banner advertising. They also have a downline builder with some popular marketing resources like TrafficWave.

One of the more interesting features of FCAT is login ads. When you login to the members area of Fast Cash and Traffic, you will occasionally be shown a full-page login ad. These cost 5 credits and are a nice way to get your sites seen. Choosing which of your sites will get login ads is as simple as putting a checkmark next to it.

What really sets FCAT aside from other traffic exchanges is their highly affordable upgrades. Silver membership is just $1.75 a month and gives you 125 monthly credits and 50% commissions. Gold is only $3.95 / mo and gives you 65% commissions and 250 bonus hits a month. Furthermore, if you take the One-Time Offer when you signup, you can grab the yearly Gold membership for just $25. It’s really amazing, considering some exchanges charge you that much for just one month!

Another important thing to point out is that FCAT only allows upgraded members to surf. This ensures that your ads are seen by real buyers. (Free members can still surf during Fridays). One downside of this is that the credits are being used pretty slowly. That’s understandable, however, since the site doesn’t have many members yet. Hopefully credit usage will speed up soon, as more members join via TE Profits and other sources. In the meantime, you can convert your credits to banner impressions.

Join Fast Cash and Traffic and try it out – and if you have $25 to spare, I strongly recommend making use of their Gold membership OTO.

TE Club Review

TE Club is a recently launched traffic exchange by Kjell Skogsøy. It runs on a custom script and has lots of interesting features. First, the surfbar: you can actually pick which site you want to view next out of 4 preview thumbnails. I think it definitely makes surfing a bit more interesting than clicking those tiny surfbar images all the time.

The second interesting feature is the traffic exchange rankings. You can vote for your favorite TEs from the members area, and even directly from the surfbar when you are viewing a site that is added to the TE Club ranking system. What’s more, you can actually enter your affiliate IDs and get referrals to your favorite exchanges (e.g. ranking list also works as a downline builder).

The OTO upgrade offered by TE Club might be worth your attention. Not only it gives you a nice 65% discount off the yearly membership price and 1,000 credits every month, it also includes a LFM lite membership site script which normally costs $97.

Update: traffic delivery at TE Club has slowed down to a crawl, so I don’t recommend joining this site anymore.

Splash Page Advertising in Traffic Exchanges

When advertising in traffic exchanges, you have to remember that most surfers will not be interested in your site. All they want is that traffic credit they will get by waiting a short amount of time (usually around 10 seconds). You can, however, try and get them out of that “clicking zombie” state by using eye-catching splash pages.

A splash page is used to capture the surfer’s attention before they move on to the next site. Here are some tips for creating effective splash pages for traffic exchanges:

1) Write an attention-grabbing headline. It should clearly define what the site or product you want people to see is about. I advice against using cliché headlines like “Discover How You Can Fire Your Boss in 7 Days With This Guaranteed Money Making System™” – most people know already that it’s usually an ad for yet another useless e-book. It’s better to keep it short and simple.

2) Keep it short and tell people what makes you different. A bullet list might work well to outline the most important information that surfers will find interesting. Pique their interest and make them want to take action to find out more about your offer.

3) Keep graphics to the minimum. A lot of traffic exchange users actually surf with graphics off – if they see nothing where a big image should be (a chart with text, for example), they will leave. That aside, a splash page also has load quickly (remember, you only have 6 to 20 seconds – site loading time included). If you absolutely have to add a big image, don’t forget to write an alternate text for it.
